When I painted this for my daughter, she was three. Creativity is a form of expression that can be a profound expression of love. She loved animals, and I loved her. Sometimes, love is expressed in the smallest of things. Love is really about acceptance. It is about appreciating what you are given, even if your expectations were not aligned initially. Creating images that say love without words drives the message deeper and gives it permanence.
